The Chateau range is very cost effective while achieving simplistic through to ornate window decoration, from rustic or cottage style to a trendy apartment look.

These metal rods are available in 16mm and 25mm diameter with a large range of eye-catching finials or end knobs. The Finials and end knobs add the finishing touch to the curtains on your window.

Black Chateau Rod with Fan Finial

When choosing your finial design select carefully as this item will contribute to the overall appearance of your window – and the room. The ‘Chateau’ system is ideal for tab curtains, eyelet ring taped curtains, or gather/pencil pleat taped curtain headings or slot headings.

To anchor the end of the curtain, place one ring between finial and bracket. Rings with eye suit hooks: rings with clip attach directly to fabric by means of fine teeth and spring clip device therefore curtain tapes are not required but for better appearance a backing of stiffening is recommended.

Black Chateau Rod with Olive Finial

Matching holdbacks are a further option. These consist of a ‘U’ shaped arm – one end is screwed to the wall, the other is designed for co-ordinated finial attachment. Rod support brackets are of ‘half cup’ or ‘cradle’ shape and project approximately 10cms overall. A small threaded rosette, which is part of the bracket design, is then turned to secure the rod into position. Other uses for this range include wall hangings, and scarf systems.

These are hand draw only. One centre bracket is recommended, as rings/tabs (on tab top curtains) cannot traverse past the bracket. A joining splice available.
