Western Red Cedar is a Plantation grown renewable resource. Western Red Cedar contains a natural preservative resin in the raw material, making it the most stable of all commercially used timbers.

Western red Cedar is used extensively in the building trade because of its versalitity in both internal and external applications.

Enviromentally friendly Basswood is another Plantation grow renewable resource. Basswood is one of the most durable and light, yet hardest softwoods available.

100% furniture grade basswood is light in colour, and in its natural state, making it very friendly to variations in stains and paints.

Due to its extremely low resin content, Basswood is a stable timber suitable for use in both blinds and shutters.
